Ryan Johnson, our newest real estate appraiser trainee, joined the team in June 2010.

After graduating from Westfield State University in 2001, Ryan pursued a career in residential construction and remodeling. His experience in the construction industry has served him well in the real estate appraisal field.

Ryan has lived in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut all his life, so he is extremely familiar with all the little hamlets common in New England.

Within a few days of joining the Bay West appraisal team it was evident that Ryan was a "real find". His willingness to learn and committment to excellence is rare...and impressive. Moreover, his business philosophy and work ethic aligns perfectly with the Bay West philosophy of going the extra mile.

Taking on a real estate appraiser trainee during a very busy season when interest rates have hit an all-time low can be challenging and time consuming for the certified real estate appraisers responsible for training. However, Ryan is bright and a quick study, so he makes their job easier. His quality of work improves daily, so we are committed to investing the time and energy to train Ryan and look forward to a long term relationship.

When Ryan is not appraising real estate he can be found on the many beautiful golf courses in the area, or fishing on Cape Cod with his Dad. Ryan lives in Somers, Connecticut, and is engaged to Michelle Childs.
