About Tom Dietschler, Founder
Tom Dietschler decided to pursue his passion.
Real estate appraising was a perfect fit for his
analytical mind and uncanny knack for uncovering
little known facts. Starting over is never easy but
Tom was determined to be an excellent real estate
appraisers.
He paid his dues, and in 1993 Tom was certified in
Massachusetts as a Residential Real Estate
Appraiser. He was trained by the best and after
working for other firms for ten years he founded
Bay West Appraisers in 2003.
Over the years, Tom has earned a sterling reputation in the real estate appraising industry as a fair, honest, dependable, and highly qualified appraiser. Although he appraises all types of residential properties; Tom's specializes in multi-million dollar homes, and unique and difficult properties.

Tom and his wife, Mary Ann have three adult children, Jeff, Dan, and Jenna, and three grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe. and Sophia. A native of Buffalo NY, Tom has lived in Western Massachusetts since 1963. When he's not appraising real estate, Tom can usually be found on a golf course trying to lower his handicap, or digging in the dirt working in his garden.
